TITLE I INFORMATION

What is the Purpose of Title I Funding?
Title I, Part A is a federally funded program designed to ensure that every child has the opportunity to receive a high-quality education and reach proficiency in core academic subjects, such as reading, math, and science.

At Oak Creek Charter School, Title I funds support our mission of academic excellence by providing extra resources and support to help all students succeed—especially those from low-income families, as determined by participation in the free and reduced lunch program.
How Are Title I Funds Used at Oak Creek?
Title I funding allows us to offer a wide range of supports that directly benefit students and families, including:

  • Additional academic resources and instructional materials
  • Certified teachers and highly-qualified paraprofessionals
  • Technology and equipment to enhance student learning
  • Targeted programs in Reading, Writing, Math, and Science
  • Before-school, after-school, and summer tutoring opportunities
  • Ongoing professional development for teachers
  • Time for collaborative planning to strengthen instruction
  • Family engagement workshops and learning events

These supports help ensure that every Oak Creek student has access to the tools and guidance needed to thrive academically and reach their full potential.
